Niloy Shah
Chief Operating Officer
Niloy Shah oversees commercial aspects of Ridgewood Energy’s offshore oil and gas activities including land management, oil and gas marketing, and strategic planning. He began his career with BP (Amoco) in 1985 and spent 32 years with the company before joining Ridgewood Energy in 2017. His most recent positions included Head of Planning & Commercial Operations for the Americas, Global Head of Commercial Operations, CFO for the Gulf of Mexico Business, and CFO for the Asia Pacific Business. He has had central functional roles and a number of commercial roles for BP businesses in Alaska, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Vietnam, and the US Gulf of Mexico.
Mr. Shah has a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Tulsa and an MBA from the University of Houston.
