Jeni Voncannon

Jeni Voncannon is responsible for geophysical evaluation informing Ridgewood Energy’s exploration, appraisal, and production decisions. She has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Ridgewood Energy in 2026, Ms. Voncannon served as Senior Geophysical Advisor for Chevron – Hess Corporation, evaluating deepwater Gulf of America exploration opportunities. Earlier in her career, she worked at Shell Oil on seismic processing and Gulf of America exploration teams. At Venari Resources, she worked as a Lead Exploration Geoscientist, where she helped evaluate and mature exploration opportunities and provided key technical input supporting the farm-in to the Anchor discovery, a 300–400 MMBOE oil field. Ms. Voncannon received a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Science and a Master’s in Geology, both from Texas A&M University.
